Article marketing is an excellent way to attract new visitors to your site, while also increasing your link popularity with search engines. Here is how it works:
You write a keyword-rich article about your specialist subject; for instance, if you are an internet marketer, you might write an article entitled "what is SEO?". You then submit your article to article directories, who will then publish your article, provided it meets their submission guidelines.At the bottom of the article is a resource box, which will contain information about the author, generally with two backlinks towards whatever site(s) they are promoting.
Other website owners are always looking for quality content for their sites, newsletter,, and e-zines. They will come across your article, a reprint it...with the resource box intact. The most important thing to remember though, is that do not submit the exact same article to multiple places, as this will fall foul of dupicate content filters that are in play on the major search engines.
